Patch Id File

Hello,I am having trouble obtaining the Patch ID file output in FRAGSTATS.
Even though I select the option in the Output Files panel, the program does not generate the corresponding file in the output directory.Here are the details of my setup:

• Input raster format: GeoTIFF
• Pixel type: signed integer
• The file loads correctly, FRAGSTATS recognises all class values, and all other output files are generated normally.
• However, the Patch ID file is never produced, regardless of the model configuration.

I would like to ask whether there are known issues related to:

1. GeoTIFFs with signed integer pixel type
2. Patch ID file generation under specific model settings
3. Any constraints in FRAGSTATS regarding patch labelling for certain raster formats

If there are specific requirements for generating the Patch ID output (e.g., pixel depth, unsigned data formats, background settings), I would appreciate guidance.

We are not aware of any issues with the signed integer GeoTiffs, and had no complaints about Path ID generation with any format ever.

However, I should note that the patch ID is output only for the No Sampling option. No other sampling strategy will output a patch id layer by design.

If you have issues with the patch id generation under the No sampling strategy, let us know. We'll take it from there.

Thank you for the prompt reply. There was actually no error — I had wrongly assumed that the Patch Id file would be placed in the results folder, which is not the case. Thank you for the clarification, and my apologies for the confusion!
